(More customer reviews)I was eager to get this higher capacity battery to allow me to make better use of my recently purchased Samsung HMX-H205 camcorder Samsung H205 Full HD Camcorder with 32GB Internal Memory & 20x Optical Zoom (Black). The H205 has 32 GB of memory and therefore has a lot of storage available. The standard battery, although it had pretty good life, just didn't cut it for long recording times. THe IA-BP420E literally doubles the length of time I can operate my camcorder now. It's a real help to have a long-life battery. In a recent time-lapse session this battery allowed my camcorder to record in time-lapse mode for just over 7 hours! I was impressed with that. Of course in normal recording mode, it would not last that long but I easily get 4 hours of recording time with this battery in my Samsung H205.
Highly recommended if you need extended recording time and don't have access to AC power.
